JetStreamMX LLC specializes in rapid-response AOG and line maintenance support for charter and business jet operators across the Northeast Corridor. Based at KBDR (Bridgeport, CT), our mobile A&P teams provide 24/7 on-site troubleshooting, inspections, and maintenance services. We maintain expertise across 25+ aircraft makes and models, serving 30+ active customers including charter operators, management companies, and corporate flight departments.
About This Role
JetStreamMX LLC is seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) to support time-critical maintenance operations across a diverse fleet of business and regional aircraft. This role demands strong dispatch readiness and the ability to travel to customer locations as needed.
You will be responsible for performing comprehensive inspections, troubleshooting complex discrepancies, and completing maintenance tasks accurately and efficiently in high-pressure environments where downtime matters.
Success in this position requires excellent technical judgment, disciplined documentation habits, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to work independently while communicating clearly with customers and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair non-scheduled maintenance discrepancies; complete all return-to-service (RTS) documentation to audit-ready standards
- Maintain 24/7 on-call readiness and deploy rapidly to assignments; provide emergency AOG recovery support with minimal downtime
- Coordinate effectively with Management, aircraft owners, and operators throughout the maintenance process
- Execute all duties as directed by Management, maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols and quality standards
- Submit complete RTS documentation and logbook entries immediately upon work completion
Job Requirements
Required Qualifications
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate (required)
- Demonstrated experience in aircraft maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively with flight and operations teams
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as AOG situations require
- Valid driver's license and ability to obtain airport badging and security clearances
Preferred Experience
- Three or more years of hands-on aircraft maintenance experience
- Experience supporting Part 91 and/or Part 135 operations
- Strong defect isolation and root-cause analysis capabilities
- Practical experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and avionics/electrical systems troubleshooting
- Schematic interpretation proficiency and technical documentation expertise

- Routine bending, walking, and standing for extended periods
- Work in confined spaces and at heights with appropriate safety gear
- Operate effectively in both indoor hangar and outdoor ramp environments
